Kitschy Cats & Fish

In the 50’s and 60’s atomic age, kitschy images were part of suburban decor. Cat and fish sculptures, mostly made in Occupied Japan for US consumers, were among the favorites. I enjoy the simplicity of the playful, anthropomorphic animal images, so I decided to recreate some for a coloring book.

This 8 x 10 inch book contains 20 single sided images that are appropriate for both children and adults. Color with crayons, pencils, markers or gel pens, and give them a true atomic age feel by embellishing with glitter and stickers.
