Expressive qualities of color and line are used to explore my subjects.
Currently I am working on a series of Wal-Mart paintings. The top left image was part of the Us on the US show in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The images are a mixture of distortion, exaggeration, primitivism, and fantasy. In the paintings these are portrayed in vivid color. Every image tells a story.
Acrylic paint and ink on canvas, and pen and ink on paper are the mediums used by Audrey Breed.
